Seven Inch Sound is a new digital music magazine. We are a community of writers who explore the extraordinary in sound and story. We also cherish inspiration from the past, when music was delivered to fans through seven-inch vinyl singles.
Our reading community appreciates how the echoes of past influences continue to shine through today in many different ways. They enjoy how these influences remind us that music is rooted in memory and history. Staff and subscribers alike hold a deep appreciation for how this sense of memory in music makes the intangible art form such a force.
This magazine was created by Kat Keller, music journalist and songwriter based in Brooklyn, NY. Seven Inch Sound was born out of Kat’s passion for creative lyricism, processing emotions through music, and connecting with others at shows.
